ImTOO PodWorks Review.
I’ve used several ImTOO products in the past, the ringtone maker and iphone video converter, and they all worked pretty good. They recently just released PodWorks and after reading the features I thought I’d give it a try. ImTOO PodWorks blows all other iPod managers out of the water! Including iTunes!
What’s so special about PodWorks? It’s one of a kind, it can rebuild your iTunes library from ipod or iphone, copy iphone content on your hard drive, rip dvds to ipod compatible format, and also convert any video format for the iPod.
I was quite amazed by the number of features. PodWorks supports just about all the video formats you can think of, everything from AVI, MPEG to DIVX and RM. Chances are, if it is a video, then you can PodWorks can get it onto your iPhone. You can even rip any DVD to play on your iPhone!
Audio CDs and photos are fully supported.
The interface is very intuitive and easy to use, it’s loaded with customizations and features.
I did run into some bugs with PodWorks, if you use PodWorks simultaneously with iTunes, it will mess things up. It’s because both programs are trying to interface with your iPod and it just don’t know how to deal with it. PodWorks will automatically open iTunes when you use the feature to export songs directly to your iTunes library. It ok to open run both programs at the same time, just don’t upload songs at the same time.
There many iPod Managers on the market today, but ImTOO PodWorks has set a new standard.
